Prerequisite: a grade of "C" or higher in NURS 1014 or NURS 1018; or permission of instructor. Presents content related to end-of-life nursing care using the educational program designed by City of Hope National Medical Center and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing for the End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) project. Focus is on palliative nursing care; ethical/legal issues; communication; cultural considerations; pain and symptom management; and loss, grief and bereavement. Contact Hours: Lec. 3 Lab.0
