NURS 3009/Lecture/071I - Health Care of Women | Credits 3.00
Prerequisite: NURS 1014 and 1015; or permission of instructor. Course provides for the overall study of women as members of society, as well as their diseases and/or childbearing functions. Attention will be focused on the contemporary woman as a health care consumer. Major concepts to be explored include assessment of women's health using a holistic approach; psychophysical health concerns of the contemporary woman; lifestyle concerns of the contemporay woman; social, ecomonics, and environmental hazards; and an overview of major reproductive and gynecologic concerns.
